Austrian Post Office in Smirna 1867/74: Entire letters/covers (5) with 1867 3 s. green and pair of 10 s. blue used on 1870 and 1873 covers (3) - two to Genoa and one to Venice, each tied by SMIRNE thimble cds's (Tchilinghirian fig. 10), a similar franking used in 1874 to Genoa struck with italic "coi Postali Austriaci" in black, 1872 cover with 15 s. brown single franking used to Vienna, 1871 cover to New York, USA endorsed "via Trieste" tied by thimble cds's and framed "Franco" in red with "Paid All2 arrival in red and 1871 unpaid cover front to Milan charged "7" in black and franked on arrival with 1870 Postage Due 10 c. and 60 c. on arrival. A scarce and attractive group.
