1688 (May 7): Petition written in German by Daniel Schultz from Reval / Tallinn dealing with improvements of Reval's fortifications, directed to the Swedish King Charles XI (born 1655, king from 1660-1697) with an administrative note on it and signed by the king himself using the Latin name 'Carolus'. Folds stabilised by Japan paper, an interesting document during the Swedish rule in Estonia.
