Russian-Turkish Protectorate 1799-1807 1806 (Feb 1): Entire letter, somewhat weak along folds, mailed from Venice to Corfu endorsed "Napoli par Corfu" with handstruck "Germania" in red applied in Naples (Van der Linden fig. 1648), struck on arrival with blurred "POSTA SETTINSULARE / CORFU" in black. Mail during this period, both incoming or outgoing, is very rare.
