Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas - Day 5

1852: ½ baj. horizontal corner pair from the lower left of the sheet used as taxation on the reverse of a local letter from VITERBO. The stamps, printed on handmade paper are grey in colour. According to the certificate by Giacomo Avanzo (2022), the stamps are exceptionally well-margined and in ideal condition. On the front, the taxation is denoted by a large '1' in ink.
