1851 (21 July): Cover from Bordeaux to Bristol bearing 1849 20 c. black on yellow and vert. pair of 1850 40 c. orange, overall fresh and fine examples in vibrant colour with fair to enormous margins, the pair shaved at top right, adhesives tied by grill obliterator, the pair in addition by London PAID (24 July) datestamp in red. Front struck by BORDEAUX despatch cds and framed PD, both in black, reverse with BRISTOL arrival cds (24 July) in bluish black.
