Two documents related to Freemasonry in Israel: 1) 7-08-1950 dated receipt on "Mizpah" Lodge stationary for payment of 1 Lira from brother B. Levinson for "Sefer HaZohar"; 2) 3-03-1950 dated typewritten invitation to general meeting of the "Bat Zion" lodge of the Bnot Brit in Jerusalem + mention of condolences & congratulations to various members. "Mizpah" is lodge #6, founded 1933 by Shmuel HaShimshoni. Ita Yellin served as the 1st president of "Bat Zion", from 1931 & succeeded in getting many of J'lem's society females to join.
