Lot 948 - g.b. postal history mulreadys and caricatures - Argyll Etkin Ltd Worldwide Stamps and Postal History #33HCK Caricature envelope, the design very similar to the Mulready but with the elephants and llamas wearing spectacles, a few light tone marks, otherwise fine, unused and very scarce. Two examples in the Grunin collection were described as the only known examples, though six or seven are now believed to exist. This envelope ex Yates (Robson Lowe 1949), Dale (S.G. 1969) and Shaida.
