Auction # 2449 ARGENTINA: Very enjoyable general auction, with a lot of interesting material of all periods!!

GJ.19, 5c. rose-red, 1st printing, on a letter sent to the "Chamber of Justice" of La Rioja from Córdoba, with emotional text of high literary value, where Nicéforo Castellano asks that a penalty against him affecting his good name be revoked, because it has embittered his life and he has become a wreck. He begs them, and tells them that if that occurs, he will say that those who are part of the chamber are just in their punishments and kind-hearted because they know how to forgive. Very interesting and of great historical value!
