1849 1F Vermilion tied by red 4th of January 1849 cds to cover from Paris Bureau Central to Seine & Marne, three large margins, touched at lower left corner.
The 1F Vermilion was issued on January 1st; the first cover known is from January 2nd (Hackmey collection), the second known is this one. Only two covers known with red cancel on Vermilion

Le 1F vermillon a été émis le 1er janvier 1849, la première lettre connue est du 2 janvier (collection Hackmey), la deuxième lettre connue est celle-là.
