1859: Official entire letter to Jassy struck on front with two fine BERLAD / MOLDOVA datestamp (27/5) in blue (Kiriac fig. 272) and, on reverse a superb intaglio handstamp "PRINCIPATELE UNÎTE / Direktiea Postelor 1859" with Arms in centre, struck alongside JASSY / MOLDOVA arrival datestamp (28/5) in blue - an early usage (Kiriac fig. 292). Opens well for Exhibit display, a scarce entire. Signed Heimbüchler.
