Russian (ROPiT) Post Office in Smirna 1863: Prepaid entire letter from Smirna to Beirut, Lebanon struck at top with framed "P.P" in greenish-blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 148) with circular "COMPAGNIE RUSSE DE NAVIGATION / SMYRNE" despatch datestamp (Sept 11) below (fig. 150). Superb and of great scarcity.
