Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

Cameroons Expeditionary Force: 1915: 40 pf. black & carmine, overprinted "C.E.F." and surcharged "4d" in black, a marginal sheet of one hundred (100), unused, original gum. All stamps never hinged, just small part of margin at top has tiny paper adhesion. Two stamps on the bottom row have the variety "short 4" to surcharge. Folded lightly vertically between perf. columns 5 & 6, the odd perf. separation in margin. Very fresh and fine. Most impressive piece Gi = £ 3'400+ as singles.
