1869/1956: Collection contained within one album from pre-philatelic through to Falkland Islands Dependencies, arranged chronologically. Comprises predominately single stamps, mainly unused, with a good selection of larger multiples and blocks and covers/cards (22). As well a mostly comprehensive run of issues there are good numbers of the more specialised items such as watermark variations, perforation types, paper, shades and varieties. There is duplication in places mostly as a means to ilustrate the aforementioned specifications. There are a number of complete unused sets including; 1898 2 s. 6 d. & 5 s. (Gi 41/412 = £ 650), 1904 set of 8 values to 5 s. (Gi 43/50 = £ 475), 1912 set of 11 to £1 plus various shades and perforations (Gi 60/69 = £ 1'000+), 1929 set of 11 to £1 with some additional shades and Line perforations (Gi 116/126 = £ 700+) and 1938 Pictorials set of 16 to £1 with other shades (Gi 146/165 = £ 2'500). Noted variety on the 1937 Silver Jubilee "Flagstaff on Right of Turret" on both the 2½ d. and 4 d. values (Gi 140d-141d = £ 1'350). Examples of early postal stationery and later postal usages on letters including First day/souvenir covers. Numerous other items to discover.
