DDSG / DSNC 1870: 10 kr. red, perf. 9½, a used example, on 1871 entire letter to Orsova tied by circular three line Roman dated "SALDIRT / 21 / VI / 71" (Settled - Paid) cds in blue (Tchilinghirian figs. 825 and 901). This datestamp was most probably a book-keeping cancellation applied to receipts rather than a postal one. The 10 kr. red is rare on cover from Lom Palanka with Tchilinghiran & Stephen recording just one cover. Illustrated in Dr. G. Popov "Die Österreichische Levantepost in Bulgarien" on page 29 and mentioned on page 513 and illustrated on page 514 in Tchilinghirian & Stephen and in Edition D'Or volume XVIII on page 70.The sole recorded usage of the datestamp as a canceller on letter.
