1863/1864, Eagle ½r. orange and 1r. blue on lettersheet with message from La Guayra 14 Dec 1863 to Caracas, clearly oblit. by c.d.s. "CORREOS LA GUAIRA DEC 14", file fold through 1r. stamp, entire reinforced and soiling on front. Rare colour-franking of this issue, stated to be the earliest usage of 1r.value, a further letter bearing this franking was included in Bustamante collection (lot 31095), but none in Dr.Heister collection.
