Postal History Rarity: 30.9.1948 cv ex Paris to private Glusman (family corresp.) in APO #192, IDF Palestine (Israel), transferred to the APO Authorities and Flown to Sodom w/cachet KBA #192 as arr mark! Hand inscpt: "Transferred to Training Base No. 1 on 29.6.1948" and then Redirected to the Etsiyoni Brigade (Jerus). So cv has 22 Army postmarks, starting w/APO Base A 14.10.48 + 5 hand notes & cachets all in attempt to trace the soldier (incl. Base A, APO #5, 8, 15 & RLO). As this did not succeed it was marked on 3.XI.48 by the RLO to be returned to the sender; w/centerfold & other marginal defects still more than fine for such a much travelled cv, Exhibition Showpiece
