Communist East China 1949: Cover from Wukengshan to Shanghai franked by East China March 1949 $ 10 slate-lilac marginal single and corner marginal block of six tied by dotted Wukengshan cds's (July 23) with Shanghai machine cancel of arrival (Sept 27) alongside in black. Slight corner fault to envelope but a rare and attractive franking.
