1858 (Nov 1): 40 pa. greenish blue on yellowish paper, a fine large margined example used on 1861 entire letter to Bottuschan tied by framed FRANCO / ROMAN handstamp (Kiriac fig. 319) with 'Roman / Moldova' cds alongside (16/3), both in blue. Reverse with 'Jassy' transit (17/3) in blue and 'Botuschani / Moldova' arrival cds in green (20/3). A fine and most attractive entire. Signed Engel; cert. Heimbüchler (2018).
