1902: Battambang Provisional, 10 a. typewritten surcharge in violet on 1899/1904 12 a. brown-purple & carmine, a used example with BATTAMBONG circular datestamp (14.9.1902) well struck in black. Slightest blunting of perforations at upper right mentioned for full accuracy but an extremely rare stamp in superb quality for this rarity. Cert. BPA (2024) Gi = £ 7'000.
