1884: 2 s. 6 d. lilac, white paper, wmk. anchor, in combination wih Jubilee 1887 2 d. grey-green & carmine, 3 d. purple on yellow and 1 s. dull green, all with 'EPM/Co' perfin, used on registered letter post label, sent from London to Jerusalem, Palestine, addressed to United States Consul, dated 15 September 1893, tied by registered London oval. To the reverse an Austrian P.O. arrival 'Jerusalem Gerusalemme' circular datestamp in black (30 September 1893) and a Oxford Street transit (15 September). Some perf. faults to edges as would be expected. Worn and wrinkling / creasing with some light rubs, otherwise fine. A rare combination and destination.
