1873/87: Bantam ½ d. rose-red, Bell 1 d. green and 1 s. blue on blued paper, all used on 1882 registered cover to Vallemaggia, Ticino, Switzerland and tied by "317" numeral obliterators with corresponding "YANDOIT / VICTORIA" cds of despatch adjacent (July 17) and the 1 s. adhesive further tied by framed "R" of Registration in violet. Reverse with Melbourne registered transit cds (July 18), 'Ambulant No. 39' cds, Chiasso Ambulant cds (Aug 30), Locarno cds and oval framed "Guimaggio" handstamp in black. Light overall soiling but a charming and scarce 1/1½ d. rate cover, unrecorded in the Ben Palmer census "Pre UPU Destination Mail of Victoria".
