Ireland. 1916 (June 26) Picture postcard written by a soldier in the 5th North Staffs Rgt., with KGV 1⁄2d tied by "ARMY POST OFFICE (H.D) / 40" c.d.s, used by the 176th Brigade in Dublin, May-August 1916, following the Easter Rising. Also a 1916 (May 4) cover with "ULSTER VOLUNTEER FORCE HOSPITAL / BELFAST" incorporating an orange hand printed in the upper left corner, used from Belfast franked 1d, a small piece torn away above the printed device but still an attractive and unusual cover. (2).
