Mulready. 1840 (May 8) 1d Mulready lettersheet stereo A25 with "Webb, L’pool" stationers imprint on the flap (partly covered by the wax seal), cancelled by a red Maltese Cross, backstamped with red Liverpool and London datestamp. A fine and exceptionally early use of a Mulready with the uncommon "Webb" imprint on just the third day of issue. S.G. £2,600+. Photo on Page 255.
