Additionally, there is a stockbook filled with a mix of older and newer stamps, though largely unsorted.

1876: 5 sh. black & rose on buff postal stationery envelope, used on 1876 cover from Gustave von Riederer, the Director of Posts to a postal official in Linz, Austria, lightly cancelled at Teheran on despatch; additionally franked for onward transmission by Russia 1875 8 kop. red & grey on horizontally laid paper (Scott 28) tied at the Russian border Post Office in DJULFA (Dec 27). Reverse with two Tabriz transit cds's further DJULFA cds, Moscow cds, Vienna cds and Linz arrival cds (Jan 25, 1876g). Edge wear to envelope and some minor ageing of no significance, very few known mixed frankings with postal stationery are recorded: a damaged example in the Brigadier Lewis (Oct 1979) collection, and a front to Constantinople in Robson Lowe's Nov 1982 sale - all appear to be sent as New Year's greetings to Postal Officials or Philatelic Dealers; one of the finest known examples of this franking - an outstanding a rare combination cover.
