1865/80: 'Cubiertas' collection, the exhaustive study of the labels applied to Insured Letters (usually gummed on to the reverse of the few extant covers), the collection in four volumes was plated and described by Professor Narath of Berlin and exhibited at the Berlin Philatelic Society in the 1965 (photocopy of speech attached and copy of the Berlin 1968 yearbook), begins with the first 1865 types with unused 25 c. (8) and 50 c. (3) including one on reverse of cover with tiny part of 1865 10 c. still attached (H&G 5+6); 1867 issue with 50 c. unused (2) and used (2), 1870/74 50 c. unused (2) and used (60), 1876 50 c. with used (47) in differing types, 1884 issue 50 c. used (10), New Design 1884 (H&G 11/12) with over 150 used incl partial covers (15); 1889/92 issue (H&G 13/37) with over a 100 items unused or used.
