1868 LEE, Robert Edward, signed letter, dated "Lexington Va. 24 April 1868", the letter reads in full "My dear Sir, I have no recollection of having seen a one cent Confederate postage stamp though this may have been issued. Wishing you every happiness, in which I am joined by Mrs Lee, I am very respct Your obe Srnt. R E Lee".
