Hambantota/Welikada Jail. 1902 Ceylon 2c postal stationery cover sent locally to "Lieut Muller, The Camp, Hambantota" with an ER censor seal and scarce oval "P.O.W / PASSED / CENSOR / HAMBANTOTA" in violet; and 1901 cover from the USA to F.M Hearne, an American volunteer in the Boer forces held P.O.W at Ragama, redirected to Welikada Jail with an ER censor seal tied by Ragama Camp censor cachet, the stamp removed, probably by the censor.
