An exceptional island cover: 2 1⁄2 on 2 1⁄2 groschen brown orange with clear DKr. "KEITUM 6.8.74" on registered envelope with return recepisse to the head of the municipality Paulsen in the own land delivery area to List. A dispatch against Recepisse is not specially noted here, but with this official matter subject to postage with complete varnish seal "KÖNIGL. PREUSS. SYLTER LANDVOGTEI" on the reverse is plausible. The stamp (postage stamp) is clearly embossed, usually perforated and in perfect condition except for a toning on the left side, certificate Krug BPP (2006).The registered letter to List in its own delivery district is franked with 21⁄2 Groschen. The postage for the registered letter weighing up to 250 grams to its own delivery district was 1 1⁄2 Groschen. The fee for a return postage (which is not explicitly noted here) of 1 groschen is included in the 2 1⁄2 groschen post age paid. Registered letters to one's own delivery district with a return address are extremely scarce. No other registered letter from the island of Sylt with a return address isknown, a breast plate scarce item!
