Welcome to our 348th auction of 4,200 lots of Stamps, covers, collections and 200 lots of philatelic literature.
Special attention should be focused among other things on the spectacular multiples of the 1 shilling embossed highlights - a comprehensive offer of approximately 200 single lots of early GB. Starting with a couple of Penny Blacks the sale specialise in Penny Reds, from "Reds printed on Black plates" to the perforated issued documenting colours, cancellations, watermarks etc. However, there are also many lots of "Penny blues" and finally some specialised collections of the Edward VII issue including MNH blocks of four and larger units.
The Last Days of Berlin and German Nazi Reich in 1945 are documented in a unique collection of postal history items - "KOMMUNIKATION IM UNTERGANG". The entire collection comprises 99 items and ends up with some postal documents (inked-out Hitler heads etc.) of the immediate post-war time. It is a "once in a lifetime" opportunity for every historian and would grace any museum for German and European History alike. Many more details can be found in our "Bulletin" in the German section of our homepage. (Est. 20.000 €).
Many more international rarieties are on offer, as well as a large number of collections.
