1946 opened out envelope inscribed "Air mail" and self-addressed to a corporal in '3 Company, Palestine Command Signals, M.E.F.' franked Transjordan 10m and 20m with part AMMAN cds presumably on 22 June 1946, neat backstamp 'FIELD POST OFFICE/25JU/46/233'. Philatelically inspired during Jordan-Palestine "terrorist period". [Includes couple related newspaper clippings.]
