Three album pages with old-time haphazardly arranged but interesting and valuable selection of LE and SP issues incl. 1841 1d single with gigantic margins and pair on part Entires, 1854-57 1d on piece with early usage on 20 June 54, 1858-79 piece with 1d red plate 140 single and block of 4, 2d values (19), then a couple of missed frankings with 1858 1d plus 6d lilac plate 6, and 1858 1d, 3d plate 9 and 1872-73 6d plate 11 on 1872 piece, Surface prints on piece incl. 1855 1s pair, 4d with 6d, 1862-64 1s (2) and 1865-67 6d plate 5 etc. Most of the pieces are large enough to show the complete postmark, also the backstamp. Mixed condition, some with contemporary damage, but a fascinating little lot (38 items) [US1] (Reserve = £203.20) [Estimate price: £254.00]
