THIS COVER WAS CARRIED ON THE LAST SAILING OF THE SAINT MARYS ON THE OUACHITA RIVER.
The "Saint Marys" of 666 tons was built at Wheeling W.V. in 1867 for Capt. T.C. Sweeney. Used for a brief time until March 30th 1869 on the Ouachita River trade when she went to the Portsmouth to Cincinnati trade on the Ohio River.
