3 Kreuzer blue, plate 3, horizontal gutter pair, so-called "bridge", fresh colours and full to mostly large margins, with portions of adjoining stamps on the right, with Mühlradrad-cancel "243" and neatly placed double circle cancellation "NÜRNBERG 13 FEB. 1856" on complete folded cover to Oberammergau. Attractive perfect condition. Gutter pairs on letters are among the great scarcities of Bavarian philately; only two other covers of the 3 Kreuzer blue are registered, one of them with repaired postage paid. A spectacular piece.
