Palestine Forerunners German Post - Large heavy type (made out of thick carton type paper) commercially mailed registered cover from Jerusalem Deutsche bank to Germany. very rare franking for multi weight 15 Piastre stamp plus 2 piastre all tied by Jerusalem single circle postmarks dated 2.9.1901 with registered label # 801. Arrival postmark on back dated 11.9.1901 alongside complete bank wax seals. This heavy large cover size is 193mm x 130mm. Some light marginal wrinkles, otherwise VF & very Rare. The cover is one of only few covers known to be mailed commercially with this type high franking.
