Israel 1948 Postal History The besieged Negev - Cover mailed by Yehuda Bach from Kibbutz Ruchama at the besiege Negev to France. Franked total of 35 Mils (correct rate) , transfer to Tel Aviv via p.o box 972 where 10.11.1948 postmarks added. During that period 17 settlements at the besieged Negev rented P.O boxes at the Allenby road post office in Tel Aviv where incoming & outgoing mail was processed. Mail was transfered from and to the settelements via  Tel Aviv  by courier or small planes. The Hebrew address on back translate to: Yehuda bach, Ruchama. Po Box 972 Tel Aviv. VF & rare as only very small amount of covers known to be mailed from the besieged Negev to abroad destinations.
