1851, 3¢ copper brown, type II (Scott 10A var.), neat black grid cancellation, eye catching and scarce example of this often misidentified copper brown shade, a gorgeous and rarely offered color variety, Fine to Very Fine, 2014 P.F. certificate erroneously describing this stamp as Scott #10, which it clearly is not, as it is the recut example Scott #10A.
