U.S.S. Akron: Hull Fabric. Piece of fabric, about 6" x 3½", accompanied by a presentation letter on a Lakehurst Naval Air Station letterhead dated Feb 1932, in part, "This piece of outer covering is from the damaged lower fin of the 'Akron.' As most of the material was destroyed by orders of the officials - my friend who had charge of repairs salvaged about two square yards for me", Very Fine.
