1942 Legionnaires ("Legionari"), red overprint, set of four, n.h. (1d slight gum adhesion at bottom), v.f., signed Raybaudi, with his 1997 certificate ("ottimo stati di conservazione"). Sassone states that only 200 sets were issued; of those surviving, most are defective (stuck together, with abrasions etc.). Stamps of this issue in perfect condition are obviously rare, -
