1921 (5 Sep) registered cover sent without stamps from Odessa to the United States, bearing the rare provisional 3-line handstamp "Oplacheno Diengami", with postmaster's signature at bottom ("Paid in Cash" amount of 3,125rub filled in by hand), New York (6 Nov) arrival pmks on back, usual cover wear, fine example of pre-payment of postage in cash, during the uncertainty of post-revolutionary inflation era -
