1857 10k brown & blue, margins all around, tied by a "327" in rectangular dots on cover from Chembar (Penza Prov) to Moscow, bearing straight line "Chembarsk" and boxed "Polucheno Nov. 1858", also with 12 November arrival docketing, filing fold at top of the envelope, away from the stamp, full wax seal on back, just slightly offset to front, v.f. cover, signed Schlesinger. A rarity, probably the only known number one used from Chembar -
