1862, Pair of 30parale, printed from single dies, very fine with wide to full margins all around, cancelled with scarce bold central blue-black FRANCO DOROEHOI octagonal cancel (Dragomir type M3. fig. 306) on registered cover to Bucharest, matching colour italic RECEPISSE and well-struck Dorohoi / Moldova cds (Dragomir type 1) alongside, some reduced backflaps else very fine showpiece. THIS CANCEL IS VERY RARE ON COVER FRANKED WITH THIS ISSUE, a review of the major auction sales of the past 15 years reveals only another strike on a large part of a cover front cancelled 5.8 (ex Kunzi).
