1862-78 Selection including pieces (3) and covers (2), all with "B02" cancels, the two covers bearing 21⁄2d rosy mauve plates 6 or 9, the pieces with 2d + 6d, 4d + 6d or 21⁄2d + 4d. Single stamps comprise 1d red plates (5); 2d blue; 21⁄2d (9); 3d; 4d (4) including 1856 4d; scarce 4d sage-green; 6d lilac (6) including 1856 6d and 1862 6d (2); 6d violet (2); 6d buff; 6d grey (2); 1862 9d straw (faults but scarce); 1/- (6) including 1856 1/-; 2/- blue (perf faults but scarce). Also 4d vermilion (2) and 1/- plate 8 used in 1874 with "SUEZ" datestamps, unusual thus. A useful group. S.G. £1,900 (approx). (49 stamps + 2 covers). Photo on Page 124.
