1908 (Jan 15) Picture postcard to Otago, written from the S.Y "Nimrod" by Ernest E. Joyce, a seaman and general handy-man on the ship, with KEVII Land 1d tied by the Antarctic c.d.s, a further strike of the datestamp on the picture side. A fine and scarce item of expedition mail, the first day of use of the KEVII Land stamps and the first mail from the expedition, sent back on the "Koonya" from the edge of the Antarctic ice pack. Photo on Page 13.
