Ireland. 1691 (June 20) Entire letter from Dublin with "IV/29" London Bishop Mark, interesting contents include "the occasion of my missing some pacquets lately was a journey I took to the Camp at Ballymore from whence they marched on Thursday morning towards Athlone, and were joyned by the Dutch and Danes under the Command of the Duke of Wirtenberg, the Boates lately came out of England and those here are all gone to the camp, and in all probability Athlone will be in our possession in a little time. Monsr Scravemore had laid 100 guinys that it will be in our hands by the latter end of this month.". Two file folds, otherwise fine, an interesting letter from the Irish Wars of 1689-91.
