Australia - Tasmania. 1902 (Apr 1) First Day Cover of the Transvaal KEVII 1⁄2d - 21⁄2d and 6d (the 3d and 4d being issued at a later date), the five stamps tied to registered mourning cover addressed to Tasmania by "ROODEPOORT" datestamps with violet oval "KRUGERSDORP / P.B.C / A.E MAINWARING", backstamped at Krugersdorp, Johannesburg and Tasmania. The cover with horizontal and vertical folds (clear of the stamps) and tear at left edge, corner crease to the 1⁄2d stamp, an attractive and scarce F.D.C to an unusual destination. Photo on Page 61.
