1840 (Oct 14) Entire letter from London bearing a 1d black EL plate 1B, three large margins, very close at lower left corner, unusually tied by two red Maltese Crosses with boxed "POSTED AFTER / 6 OCLOCK AT NIGHT", an unusual explanatory handstamp on a 1d black cover. Photo on Page 222.
