Postal Stationery. 1942 SWA Half-Penny surcharge on 1d postal stationery postcard commercially used from Luderitz to Germany, together with an unused example of the card. Just fifty cards believed to have been overprinted with this provisional 1⁄2d surcharge; three examples have been recorded used, all to Germany. One of the rarest of all British Empire postal stationery items, not recorded by Higgins & Gage. (2). Photo on Page 210.
