1903 Cover to Germany from the newly established German settlement of Hohenau, bearing 1c (8) and 10c pair on the front and 1c (18) + 2c (7) on the reverse, the 35 stamps paying the 60c rate. All stamps cancelled by manuscript "Hohenau / Abril 17 1903" (written 13 times) then cancelled in transit on 2 May by Asuncion datestamps. Lower edge with tears, otherwise fine, unusual and attractive.
