Worldwide Stamps and Postal History

1900 Malta 1d + 1d QV reply card, the outward half sent from Sliema to Paris but missent to Pantin, with arrival c.d.s; the attached reply half sent from Paris to Annweiler in Germany, cancelled by "UNITED STATES / POSTAL STATION / PARIS / EXPOSITION / 1900" flag machine. A most unusual use of both halves of a reply card, the return half incorrectly accepted as valid despite not being addressed to the issuing country. The two halves partly separated, otherwise fine.
