Martinique. 1812 Entire letter to the Spanish Ambassador’s address in London endorsed by "Surinam Packet", redirected within London, the reverse inscribed "not known at the Spanish ambassadors" and "not Spanish Consul" with a fine strike of the very scarce octagonal framed "MARTINIQUE" (Jamet type 7) used by the British Packet Agent. A fine and scarce letter from the third British Occupation of the island. Photo on Page 155.
